TRUPOTAN BIO-03L

Appointment: Natural-based biopolymer suitable for the production of any types of leather from small leathers e. g. goat and sheep.

Composition: Low molecular weight modified biopolymer.

Benefits:

  • Imparts to the leather a good fullness combined with a round and light handle.
  • Has a high dispersing effect which results in brilliant and even dyeing.
  • Can be applied undiluted in the neutralisation process and/or retanning process.

TRUPOTAN BIO-05L

Appointment: Natural-based biopolymer suitable for the production of a wide range of articles, but especially for split, suede and nubuck leathers.

Composition: Modified biopolymer with high molecular weight.

Benefits:

  • Free of formaldehyde, phenols and chrome.
  • Produce really different effects on leather simply by adjusting application parameters (pH, temperature, ionic charge).
  • Produces leather with exceptional buffing properties and provides a short, compact and more evenly nap.
  • Improves the dye-ability.
  • Has no negative influence on waterproofing articles.
  • Compatible with most retanning agents and fatliquors used in the leather processing. But it is always recommendable to check stability when using TRUPOTAN BIO-05L together with vegetable extracts in the same bath and especially at low pH values.

TRUPOTAN BIO-08P

Appointment: Natural-based biopolymer suitable for the production of all types of leather.

Composition: Modified biopolymer with low molecular weight.

Benefits:

  • Free of formaldehyde.
  • Imparts to the leather a good fullness and a mellow handle.
  • Produces leather with a firm grain and a silky touch.
  • Improves the dye intensity and levelness on chrome free leathers as well as on chrome leathers.

TRUPOTAN DAR

Appointment: Specially designed low molecular weight polymer with outstanding dispersing and buffering properties.

Composition: Acrylic polymer.

Benefits:

  • Water-soluble in any proportion. Solutions are colorless and stable throughout a wide pH range.
  • Shows high light and heat yellowing fastness. Dyeings with anionic dyestuffs are only very slightly affected.
  • Helps to obtain a more regular pH value in the cross-section during the neutralisation process.
  • Used both in the neutralisation or fatliquoring process does not affect the waterproofing properties of the leather.

TRUPOTAN EHS

Appointment: Chrome syntan, intended for the production of all types of leather.

Composition: Organic synthetic compounds and chrome salts.

Benefits:

  • Produces leather with good softness and fine tight grain.
  • Improves the buffing properties.
  • Assists the dye levelling and dye intensity.

TRUPOTAN G

Appointment: Replacement syntan for the retanning of shoe upper leather and suede.

Composition: Phenolic compounds.

Benefits:

  • Brings about an increase in the fullness, especially in the more opened structured belly areas.
  • Improves the grain tightness.
  • Levels the dyeings without bleaching.

TRUPOTAN GD

Appointment: Replacement syntan with universal application in the retanning/bleaching of wet blue and for application together with vegetable tannins in low float tanning systems.

Composition: Condensation of aryl sulphonic acid and hydroxyl aryl sulphone.

Benefits:

  • The formed grain is very good, therefore suitable for broken leathers.
  • It can be used in the retanning process together with other syntans and resins, to improve penetration and distribution.

TRUPOTAN HMN

Appointment: Retanning agent, based on amino resins, for the retannage of all types of chrome leathers.

Composition: Amino resin.

Benefits:

  • Brings an increase in leather fullness, especially for the more loose structured areas of the hide.
  • Improves the grain tightness.
  • Encourages the buffing and printing properties.
  • Improves the dye levelling.

TRUPOTAN MAU

Appointment: Retanning agent, based on melamine resin compounds for application all types of leather.

Composition: Condensation resin based on melamine compounds.

Benefits:

  • Brings about an increase in fullness and improves the grain tightness.
  • Does not bleach the dyeings.

TRUPOTAN NS

Appointment: Neutralisation syntan intended for softer shoe upper leathers and upholstery leather.

Composition: Condensation products and organic salts.

Benefits: Improves the dye levelling and assists the penetration of anionic retanning agents and dyestuffs.

TRUPOTAN QL

Appointment: Pre- and retanning syntan intended mainly for vegetable tanned leather, based on naphthalene.

Composition: Naphthalene compounds.

Benefits:

  • Eases the penetration of the vegetable tannins in the tanning and retanning processes.

TRUPOTAN R83

Appointment: Retanning agent based on acrylic acids for all types of leathers.

Composition: Polyacrylic acids.

Benefits:

  • Produces leathers with excellent fullness and softness together with a tight, fine grain.
  • Improves the buffing properties.
  • Has bleaching properties and is very suitable for the production of white and pastel dyed leathers.

TRUPOTAN RKM

Appointment: Polymer retanning agent on the basis of polyacrylic acids intended for the retannage of all types of leather.

Composition: Polyacrylic acid compound.

Benefits:

  • Increases the fullness and grain tightness.
  • Eases the penetration of dyestuffs without reducing the dye intensity.

TRUPOTAN RS

Appointment: Polymer tanning agent for application in the tannage or retannage processes where improved fullness and grain quality are required.

Composition: Modified metacrylic polymer.

Benefits:

  • Produces fine and tight grained leathers without reducing softness and is therefore suitable for application in all types of leather production e. g. white shoe upper leather, car upholstery and garment nappa leathers.
  • Fully water soluble and stable to chrome and aluminium salts and may be utilised across a wide pH range.
  • Improve the buffing properties of nubuck leather production.

TRUPOTAN RXL

Appointment: High molecular weight polymer retanning agent intended for use on a wide range of leathers e. g. shoe upper, upholstery and garment leathers.

Composition: Acrylic polymer.

Benefits:

  • Fully water soluble and due to its specifically designed make up can be used across a wide pH-range.
  • Possesses outstanding resistance to light and heat yellowing and is therefore ideally suited to the production of white and pastel shade leathers.
  • Exhibits low foaming characteristics and due to its well balanced reactivity and pH will exhaust readily from retanning baths.

TRUPOTAN SW

Appointment: Replacement syntan for the retannage of all types of leather.

Composition: Diphenyl condensation product.

Benefits:

  • Excellent optical brightening effect and is therefore ideal for production of white and pastel colored leather.
  • Gives leather an outstanding softness with excellent fullness and round handle.
  • Ideal for the production of leathers that require low free formaldehyde values.

TRUPOTAN TD

Appointment: Auxiliary syntan based on naphthalene for application in the neutralisation, dyeing and retanning processes.

Composition: Naphthalene compounds.

Benefits: Has outstanding dispersion properties for anionic retanning agents, including syntans, vegetable tannins and also anionic dyestuffs.

TRUPOTAN TGN

Appointment: Specialist neutralising agent formulated for use (i) in conventional neutralisation processes as an alkali substitute to provide additional plumping, or (ii) via a novel application process for the upgrading of loose raw material.

Composition: Mixture of inorganic and organic compounds.

Benefits:

  • Produces full leathers with a tight, smooth grain.
  • Highly recommended for shoe upper leathers where firmness and tight grain characteristics are required.
  • Highly recommended for the upgrading of loose raw material, including leathers with substance greater than 1.8mm. TRUPOTAN TGN has no adverse effect on light and heat fastness values.
  • Fully compatible with TRUMPLER waterproof processes.

TRUPOTAN TR

Appointment: Used in tanning and retanning of chrome-free leathers, as well as in wet-blue retanning.

Composition: Pyrogallol tannins, tara.

Benefits:

  • Brings an increase in fullness and improvement in the grain tightness.
  • All leathers produced with TRUPOTAN TR have a good softness with a full round handle.

TRUPOTAN UPH

Appointment: Suitable for retanning all leather types.

Composition: Modified protein.

Benefits:

  • Improves the fullness and the grain tightness, especially in the more looser structured areas of the hide.
  • Improves greatly the buffing properties.

TRUPOTAN UTH

Appointment: Natural based polymer tanning agent with amphoteric character, it is suitable for the retannage of all types of leathers.

Composition: Modified natural amphoteric polymer.

Benefits:

  • Improves the fullness and the grain tightness, especially in the more looser structured areas of the hide.
  • Improves greatly the buffing properties and supports more intensive and brilliant dyeings with anionic dyestuffs.
  • TRUPOTAN UTH does not affect waterproofing properties.

TRUPOTAN VS

Appointment: Combination tanning agent intended for the retanning of all types of leathers, but is especially suitable for the production of chrome-free upholstery leathers and car upholstery leathers.

Composition: Diphenyl sulphone and phenolic compounds based on catechol tanning agents.

Benefits:

  • With TRUPOTAN VS a well-filled, fine grained leather with a round handle is obtained.
  • Brings about a dye levelling without reducing the color value.
  • Very suitable for the production of leathers with low free formaldehyde content.

TRUPOTAN WRT

Appointment: Styrene malein copolymer retanning agent for the production of waterproof shoe upper leather.

Composition: Styrene malein copolymer.

Benefits:

  • Improves greatly the grain tightness.
  • With TRUPOTAN WRT a leather with good stand, a fine elastic grain and a pleasant handle is produced.
  • Supports extraordinarily the properties of the waterproof fatliquors.

TRUPOTAN WSN

Appointment: Replacement syntan for the retannage of all types of leather.

Composition: Diphenyl condensation product.

Benefits:

  • Excellent optical brightening effect and is therefore ideal for production of white and pastel colored leather.
  • Gives leather an outstanding softness with excellent fullness and round handle.
  • Ideal for the production of leathers that require low free formaldehyde values.

TRUPOTAN XGL

Appointment: Innovative specialty replacement syntan for the application in the tanning and retanning processes.

Composition: Dihydroxy-diphenyl-sulphone condensation product.

Benefits:

  • Allows to produce a clean white, tight grained leather with excellent fullness. The results in terms of grain characteristics and haptics (like handle and touch) are outstanding.
  • Suitable for both, wet-blue and wet-white leathers. It increases fullness, stand and spring of the leathers.
  • Improve the color value and generally enhance the exhaustion and fixation of anionic products.
  • May be applied in the retannage process alone or in combination with other retanning agents.

TRUPOTAN XP

Appointment: Modified aliphatic aldehydic tanning agent.

Composition: Modified aliphatic aldehyde.

Benefits:

  • Highly compatible with most chemicals and assists with the even penetration and distribution of tanning and retanning chemicals, fatliquors and dyestuffs.
  • Improves chrome exhaustion both in tanning and rechroming baths.
  • May be utilised in retanning and fatliquoring to improve softness and provide fine, smooth and soft grained leathers.
  • Enhances dye distribution to provide leathers with even, brilliant shades.

TRUPOTAN 2BL

Appointment: Full tanning agent with high affinity, which ensures a good exhaustion, a good softness and excellent fullness.

Composition: Phenolic compounds.

Benefits:

  • Has a strong bleaching effect on chrome tanned leather, and final dyeings are always clean and brilliants.
  • The leathers retanned with TRUPOTAN 2BL show excellent buffing ability.

TRUPOTAN GSX

Appointment: For tanning all kinds of leathers and leathers whenever stand or spring is required.

Composition: Synthetic retanning agent.

Benefits:

  • Can be added in powder to the drum.
  • Fills and compacts the leather during the tanning process, giving fullness and mellowness to the grain.

TRUPOTAN LR

Appointment: Synthetic tanning agent of universal use for all types of leathers. It was created in order to fulfill modern requirements for low residual concentrations (without formaldehyde, without phenol).

Composition: Phenolic compounds.

Benefits:

  • Using TRUPOTAN LR helps to get an elegant and strong face with good fullness, softness and a pleasant full touch.
  • It has medium bleaching properties.

TRUPOTAN TCH

Appointment: Modified vegetable tanning material.

Composition: Modified vegetable tannins.

Benefits:

  • TRUPOTAN TCH is vegetable based tanning and retanning agent which when compared to other vegetable based tanning products , produces crust leathers with cleaner and brighter shades. In addition leathers exhibit improved fastness properties to both to light and heat yellowing .
  • Leathers retanned with TRUPOTAN TCH show excellent dyeing behaviour, allowing much cleaner and brilliant shades to be achieved than when utilising mimosa or quebracho based products.
  • TRUPOTAN TCH can be utilised as a main tanning agent, or in combination with other vegetable tanning agents, thus allowing pale clean crust leathers to be manufactured with outstanding grain characteristics and excellent fullness.

In the retanning stage TRUPOTAN TCH can be used alone or in combination with other vegetable based retanning agents or syntans, as well as with resin or polymer based materials.
