Inhibitors

Prodisol 42 A

Prodisol 42 A, Prodisol 42 B Mineral Deposit Inhibitors

Application: Used in vacuum pump and steam condenser units, as well as in other processes that require prevention of mineral deposit formation.

Benefits:

  • Increase the saturation concentration and alter the crystalline structure of deposit-causing substances.
  • Are capable of breaking down existing calcium carbonate deposits.
Prodisol 75

Prodisol 75 Mineral Deposit Inhibitor

Application: Prevents precipitation of inorganic salts (calcium carbonate (CaCO₃), calcium sulfate (CaSO₄), and calcium oxalate (CaC₂O₄)).

Benefits:

  • Is effective at high pH, high temperatures, and high pressure.
Prodisol 50

Prodisol 50 Mineral Deposit Inhibitor

Application: Prevents the formation of salt deposits and disperses colloidal particles in reverse osmosis systems.

Benefits:

  • Is highly effective at low dosages with various types of water over a wide pH range.
  • Is suitable for use with all types of membranes.
Prodisol 59

Prodisol 59/60/61/62/63 Mineral Deposit Inhibitor

Application: Used in systems requiring prevention of barium sulfate and calcium carbonate mineral deposits.

Benefits:

  • Increases the saturation concentration and alters the crystalline structure of deposit-causing substances.
  • Is effective at low concentrations.
  • Is effective at various pH values.
  • Exhibits good solubility in water.

Neobrite 40R Hydrogen Peroxide Inhibitor

Neobrite 40R

Application: Increases the stability of hydrogen peroxide in the presence of mixed-valent metals during mechanical pulp bleaching.

Benefits:

  • Prevents the catalytic decomposition of hydrogen peroxide in an alkaline medium.
  • Is silicate-free, which prevents silica deposit formation.
  • Can be used in pulp and paper mills with closed water cycles.
